ABOUT HIM
Edu Llosa began his musical career in the folk and Celtic world with the Banda Gaites Villaviciosa "El Gaitero", where he trained as a percussionist and bagpiper. His time with the band opened doors to other styles and groups, also performing as a drummer and percussionist.
He continued his studies at the Conservatorio Profesional de Música y Danza de Gijón and at CONSMUPA, gaining experience through courses, masterclasses, national and international concerts, and numerous studio recordings.
In addition to percussion and bagpipes, he also works as a guitarist, composer, and producer in various musical projects.
Edu Llosa is known for his passion for music and his dedication to teaching and promoting folklore.
Experience
Director and teacher – Banda Gaites Villaviciosa "El Gaitero".
He serves as the band’s director and also teaches bagpipe and drums, sharing Asturian tradition and musical technique with the next generation of musicians.


Percussionist – Banda Sinfónica de Gijón.
He performs as a percussionist in the ensemble, taking part in concerts and events at both local and national level.
Drummer – La Tarrancha and Alienda.
Percussion Instruments Luthier.
He performs as a drummer with the groups La Tarrancha and Alienda, contributing to both live shows and studio recordings.
He recently started his own lutherie workshop, dedicated to crafting and restoring percussion instruments.
